The OBA Programme is based on a financial Co-operation between Germany and Kenya. The German partners in the programme are:

 
 

Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and development issues in general

 

KfW Banking Group Entwicklungsbank finances on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) the Kenian Output Based Aid Programme

National Coordinating Agency for Population and Development represents the Kenian Ministry of Planning and National Development. It is responsible for overall coordination of the programme.

 

IGES Institut (GmbH), (Institute for Health and Social Research) has been contracted to develop the implementation concept for the OBA.

The National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) has been contracted for accreditation of Voucher Service Providers, quality assurance and provider training.
